What To Expect
Is there a dress code for The Village?
Not really. Our hope is that you come to worship just as you are, and we don’t get wrapped up in the clothes that you are wearing. From jeans to shorts, dresses to skirts, t-shirts to button downs and flip flops to tennis shoes, we have it all. Wear what is most comfortable to you, but please do remember that we are striving to honor God, as well as those around us.
How long is a typical worship service?
On average a worship service at The Village is about 90 minutes long. This is typically comprised of contemporary worship, followed by prayer, a short greeting/fellowship with others, a time to give an offering, and a message from our pastor.
What options are available for my children during the service?
Children are welcome to stay with you in the service or join our Village Kids program. Kids join the congregation for worship and then head to their age-specific classes during the fellowship break.
- Nursery (0–2 years)
- Preschool (2–5 years)
- Elementary (6–11 years)
Middle school students and older remain in the main service.
If you’re visiting, stop by the Children’s Check-In Counter before service — our team will be happy to help you get your kids settled.
Do you have coffee?
What kind of question is that? Of course we do! Come early — coffee is ready about 30 minutes before each service (8:30am and 10:30am). It’s a great time to connect, laugh, and catch up before worship begins. Church is about more than the message — it’s about community… and good coffee!
